Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 1:11 PM ETCriminal charges have been filed by an Italian court against an investment fund accused by Suntech (STP +2.5%) of defrauding it of $662M by promising collateral that didn't exist. The charges could lead to $100M worth of solar plants financed by the fund being dismantled, a prosecutor says. Suntech, which has already managed to freeze the fund's assets, is now facing a perilous cash flow situation.
