    The U.S. Interior Department says it will allow Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A, RDS.B) to do preparatory work on a well in the Chukchi Sea offshore Alaska but has yet to issue a final permit for drilling deep enough to find oil, Dow Jones reports.

    Isn't this just like the lying guys in this Admin would pull? Yea give me a permit but don't let me drill deep enough to find recoverable oil. These people have got to go.
