Friday, August 31, 2012, 4:22 AM ETDuPont (DD) yesterday won a ruling that bars South Korea's Kolon Industries from making and selling a rival product to DuPont's Kevlar high-strength fiber for the next 20 years. The ban follows a verdict in September 2011 that awarded DuPont $919M after a jury found that Kolon stole trade secrets by hiring former DuPont staff. Kevlar is used in bulletproof vests and brake pads.
