Cheniere Energy (LNG +1.1%) files an application with federal officials to begin construction on a liquefied natural gas export facility near Corpus Christi, Tex., designed for up to three liquefaction trains with an aggregate annual peak capacity of 15M metric tons. • I purchased my first shares of CQP on 10 Apr 2010 because I was convinced it was the best investment for a long-term profit from the natural gas boom. I have since purchased several hundred shares of LNG. It seems to me that my decision was correct. ExxonMobil has since decided that perhaps it has missed the boat and now hopes to catch up. CQP has completed the gaunlet of Federal and State approvals for this project, EOM has just begun the process. By the time any other firms gets all the approvals, CQP will be shipping LNG around the world. By 2015 the Panama Canal widening will be completed and CQP has the world in its grasp.

  • I am an 80-year-old retired CIA employee. I have been investing for 40 years and am only interested in income from my investments. The obvious area where money is to be made for the next decade is in energy -- natural gas, NGLs, \oOil, and coal -- as well as untilities. And the best way to invest is via Managed Limited Partnerships MLPs.
