    Kohl's (KSS) plans to add 36 new electric vehicle charging stations at 18 locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Retailers and restaurant chains are increasingly keeping an eye on the potential for bringing in new traffic with local EV stations, with Kohl's setting the tone by advancing its initiative beyond a pilot program.     Is this really an advance? Marginal retailers burnishing their "green" credentials by providing electric charging stations? Will these stations have air pumps for bicyclists? Perhaps hay stations for those riding in on horses?

    Let me see, I drive an electric car and need to go to the drugstore. Walgreens or CVC? Maybe the one where I can charge up my car. Burger King or MCD, maybe the one where I can recharge my car. Does it burn your butts that it might be capitalism driving the decisions? Or, because of the ideology you follow, that possibly can't be true.
