While the original FarmVille focuses heavily on crop maintenance, the new version places a greater emphasis on storytelling, resource management, and interacting with "friends." Though FarmVille usage is well off its highs, the game still claims 18M monthly players and remains Zynga's biggest money-maker, accounting for 29% of Q2 revenue. (earlier)
