S/E For 2G only...so not really a current Lic..IDCC does have access to their 3G stack though.

Most 3G phones still feature 2G GSM radios, which means they'd be covered by a 2G licensing deal. There's still a lot of land out there (particularly in emerging markets) that only has 2G coverage, which makes backwards-compatibility necessary.
