However, Apple is also said to be interested in offering "a greater degree of interactivity" than what Pandora and other Internet radio providers can support, should studios allow it to. Mobile streaming now makes up over 70% of Pandora's (P) listening time, and much of it involves iOS devices.

to be honest, I'd rather use an AAPL music stream than Pandora, because I like AAPL.
also, when you hear a song, you just click buy, and don't have to worry about opening up an app or a website, it will just buy it.
i want to invest big before the showcase but don't want to get burned in case something bad happens.

Apple as a company is perhaps the closest I've seen to the Japanese Yakuza. Having patented (and currently suing Samsung) for "text correction", I have zero doubt that Apple will patent streaming media over the internet and demand hefty royalties. I'd like to see the AAPL fanbois describe why they would invest in a company where the top management got caught in multi billion dollar fraud.
For instance, my wife podcasts her university lectures to her students, what if a business/university had Pandora like capabilities, say for training, ah the possibilities given BYOD! The infrastructure just shifted to the Apple ecosystem. No doubt these services already exists separately now, but to have them under the same roof and then you have the intregration across productivity apps, hmmm?
