I thought the accounting reduction in earnings was a nice PR stunt... we need more?

OHMIGAWD! It just clicked - whomever stars in the film will be an overnight expert in the financial services industry, talk shows, expositions everywhere as to where they are correct and we are mere ignorant boobs....

...and it will have to win an Oscar or two. If fatty Goreballs can get one for public deception - it assures this one of at least three, one suspects.

Why would Goldman seek to rewrite history with a marketing tool like this? Its not going to change views of the company and will only be seen as a ridiculous attempt to clear their image.
