Facebook (FB) +2.2% AH as Mark Zuckerberg starts talking (video) at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference. Thus far, Zuck has tried to soothe concerns about mobile monetization, predicting Facebook will eventually make more money off mobile usage than PC usage. He also admits the company jumped the gun in embracing HTML5, something that was responsible for the sluggish performance of its mobile apps. (earlier)

  • Zuckerscam reminds me of the little dutch boy with his finger in the dam hole. He's in a tough situation and will say anything to keep the dam from breaking. It was all talk with zero substance. It's fine to say you will get more revenue from mobile, it's a whole other story to give a viable example. Remember this is the same "genius" that said the ipad was not a mobile device, but merely a pc. Then delayed working on mobile apps. Putting your faith in a cocky 28 year old is a risky move, after all, how many more Bill Gates' are left out there.

  • I watched the entire video waiting to hear the game plan from Zuck. There was ZERO content, none. No plan of action, just hope that his passion would be enough to inspire others to figure it out. I will be buying more puts tomorrow. Hope is not a strategy, until a more experienced person is steering the FB ship, beware of arrogant captains not concerned with ice.
