    Anadarko (APC) is in talks with Eni (E) to build a liquefied natural gas plant in Mozambique as part of a plan to jointly develop their recent major gas discoveries off the east African country's coast. The high-end estimate for total gas in the Rovuma Basin is approaching 100T cubic feet; a consortium led by APC plans to bring the gas to shore, where it will be liquefied and shipped.

    Eni (E) has probably more reserves in the Rovuma Basin than does Anardako by far. As a result E should be the big winner in any joint venture to market NGL from that area.
