Chevron's (CVX) output in Brazil would be less than half the production levels before November's oil spill if courts allow CVX to restart operations, Brazil's petroleum regulator says. Production from the offshore Frade field had reached a maximum of 78K bbl/day; at current prices, the cut would represent a revenue loss of as much as $4M/day vs. pre-spill levels.
