Nik is best known for developing Snapseed, a $4.99 iOS photo-editing app that has won rave reviews. Though sporting a relatively steep price tag (Instagram is free) and still lacking an Android version (said to be in development), Snapseed surpassed 9M customers (.pdf) in June. Google plans to integrate Snapseed with Google+, whose success depends on how you define a "user."
