Wednesday, September 19, 2012, 8:21 AM ETEni (E) says it has made a significant gas discovery onshore Pakistan, located in the Khirtar Fold Belt region north of Karachi. The size is estimated at 300B-400B cubic feet of gas in place, and its delineation will require further appraisal wells. Eni is the largest producer in Pakistan, with an average equity production of ~54,800 boe/day in 2011.
