    Eni (E -1.8%) says an adverse arbitration decision in a natural gas dispute with GasTerra will reduce its Q3 earnings by €604M ($785M). The ruling will allow Eni to claim a price reduction for the gas volumes purchased in the period subsequent to that settled by the decision.

    While not puny, Eni's successes lately will overshadow a disappointment like the Gas Terra decision. Their exploration program is world class and best of the mini-majors.
