    After a steep drop in oil production in the wake of the 2010 BP spill, the Gulf of Mexico is poised for an energy boom as ExxonMobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX) and others invest billions of dollars in a new wave of deepwater projects and learn to adjust to an increased regulatory environment. As for BP itself, its Gulf drilling is approaching pre-Macondo levels.

  • Born in oil field of West Texas. Been oil field trash most of life. I like watching oil stock rise. Have several oil stocks. Been living on oil stock for 40 years.
