    Shares of Coach (COH -4.4%) slip lower after rival Michael Kors (KORS +6.3%) ups its guidance for FQ2 and FY13 as it bucks the cautious tone of most high-end sellers. There's no getting around that Michael Kors has been eating Coach's lunch this year in key luxury markets and the tale of the tape isn't much prettier, KORS +105.2% YTD vs. COH -7.3%.

    KORS has relatively shorter track record and lower margins. Putting into perspective, KORS feels like a fad.

    Coach is a very competetive and innovative company with proven management.

    Let's see how they respond...I would not count them out.

    KORS's insiders are just allowed to sell their stocks. Updating quarter review during this time frame makes their motive suspicious.

    Kors is a good company and Coach is a great company with a proven track record and very sound management keyed in on growth and new markets.... I will stick with Coach and buy on dips...

    KORS insiders want to sell their stock for the second time in a secondary offering. If KORS insiders had any confidence in their stock they would be selling on a timely safe harbor plan. Guidance is being hyped to get the price up. Suspicious guidance.
