Friday, September 21, 2012, 11:30 AM ETUnrest is spreading in South Africa's gold sector as workers go on strike at AngloGold Ashanti's (AU +0.7%) Kopanang mine, which accounts for ~4% of AU's total gold output and employs ~5,000 people. AU says workers haven't submitted demands, but strikes over higher wages have shut four mines at Anglo American (AAUKY.PK) and one at Gold Fields (GFI).
