Saturday, September 22, 2012, 9:15 AM ETRecent online service interruptions at Bank of America (BAC) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) are believed to have been caused by Iranian hackers who have targeted big U.S. banks repeatedly during the past year. It's not known if Iran's cyber attacks can cause significant damage, but "It's like the nuclear program: It isn't particularly sophisticated but it makes progress every year."

Kinda like my buddy used to sat during the cold war - best thing we could do is fly over Russia and drop money.
Also, I ponder if their hackers are anywhere as good as ours.
Mostly, I find the extent of damage so far detailed by what appears to be US originated hacking efforts (http://huff.to/RMs880) much more significant than anything exerted in retaliation. I also suspect US based institutions to have some of the better security systems available.
I just don't understand why such intelligent people want to attack the US instead of living here as a well paid Google/DoD exec.
I hope the US is secretly trying to recruit these people to our side. There were plenty of Nazi scientists who became integral to the American research community.
