From http://bit.ly/nTQsSc forum as of 9/19/12 there are still over 13,000 Model S reservation holders. And although TSLA is not tracking to meet their 5,000 deliveries this year, there is plenty of demand to continue to be viable assuming they can get past the Q4 cash squeeze...
