    Kraft Foods (KRFTV) is replacing struggling Alpha Natural (ANR) in the S&P 500 as of the Oct. 1 close. Alpha will be added to the S&P MidCap 400, where it will replace Korn/Ferry (KFY). KFT +1% AH. ANR -2%.

  • What's up tomorrow? Don't see how getting included in the S&P is going to change the #'s for KFT or the new KFT. The real ride will start on 2 OCT when institutions/funds shed shares (to comply with their own limits) and others snap them up to fill voids in their portfolios. Gonna do some "rounding off" myself.

  • That looks like the plan. "Poor" MDLZ will be left out in the "listing cold", just another stock in the great sea of equities. (Gonna buy some more of that also, after the fur and feathers stop flying!) ;)
