Shares broke higher in late trading yesterday after coming off of a trading halt to end up 5.5% for the day. The bigger issue: After peeling off its smallest unit, will Dean Foods take the next step to split Fresh Dairy Direct and WhiteWave-Alpro into two separate companies.
