Monday, October 1, 2012, 10:35 AM ETU.K. regulators have signed off on a network-sharing deal between Vodafone (VOD) and Telefonica's (TEF) O2 unit . The carriers plan to pool their infrastructure assets to create a "national grid" that promises to offer indoor 2G/3G coverage to 98% of Brits by 2015, and a similar amount of 4G LTE coverage by 2017. The news arrives as rival Everything Everywhere (FTE, [[DTEGY.PK) gets a head-start in rolling out LTE.
