Monday, October 1, 2012, 2:07 PM ETMicrosoft (MSFT), which just unloaded its 50% stake in MSNBC, is creating a news operation to support a revamped, touchscreen-centric MSN.com. The news division will primarily aggregate news from third parties, says a Microsoft exec, but it will also produce some original material. Microsoft's move comes as its Online Services division continues posting big losses, and MSN, the default home page for Internet Explorer, sees its traffic pressured by IE's share losses.

While the Greatest Generation had the opportunity to build our economic engine they failed to pass on to the baby boomers
economic realities. I'm from the first year of the baby boomers and
I'm financially secure even after the 2008 debacle. The problem is
50% of the baby boomers can not retire with their lifestyles as they have not saved 100k.
Check my facts but this is ridiculous.
the problem with that figure of baby boomer wealth are guys like bill gates , oprah and the Walton kids.
it distorts the numbers really bad.
Probably not an easy way to sort this out. At the end of the day the people with 30% have to scrape up money to support the guys with 70%. And in that 30% are families with kids living hand to mouth.
Not a pretty picture.
voting. Why does Iowa and New Hampshire and other states vote
in presidential primary and make choices before Calif. & other states
even get a chance to vote, and it's all decided., and we're stuck.
Why is President only choice running on Democratic ticket? He had his 4 years, give us additional choices. Voting choices in this country are limited. Who made the rules?
1] each state picks the date of their primary so you might say California is behind because of the lack of knowledge of most of its citizens to the political process.
2] You might also say there behind on the economic side based
on there tax and pension problems, not to mention the public employees taking the public for a ride.
3] As for the democrats giving you additional choices you need to look internally for any reputabile people
