The panels, which feature a whopping 443 pixels per inch (above the 326 claimed by the iPhone 5's retina display), should find their way into Android phones early next year. They represent fresh competition for OLED tech supplier PANL, but could be a positive for app processor vendors QCOM and NVDA, given more horsepower will be needed to support video playback and 3D gaming at such a high resolution.
