    In addition to upgrading Pan American Silver (PAAS) and downgrading Goldcorp (GG), Deutsche Bank adjusts price targets on other metals stocks: ABX, CDE, CLF, FCX, KGC, VALE, AA, HL, NEM, SSRI, SCCO, TCK. The sector is "hitting an inflection point where routine operating cost and capital spending overruns are no longer being tolerated by boards or investors."

    Checking the link(s) provided came up with no specific reason for the downgrade of GG, making me wonder if it was because of the production shortfall of the last quarter, due to some operational problems.

    I also noted little basis for the new price targets of this group. They seemed like arbitrary changes for some, and for others quite a meritless cut.

    GG had reported a geological contact loss with their HGZ (High Grade Zone) gold ore body. My interp. was it could have been caused by a fault. Has anyone seen both an update on the current understanding and possibly a remedy?

    Just an educated guess but the GG production problem could be geological fault-related of the HGZ (High Grade Zone). Has anyone seen a company update on the situation?
