Apartment occupancies rose in Q3 at their slowest pace in over 2 years as the home purchase market picks up again. "We are starting to lose renters to home purchasers," says Matthew Gardner. "As every rental project is increasing its rents ... it gets to the point where owning becomes cheaper than renting."
