China Premier Wen Jiabao threatens more retaliatory action unless Japan "immediately and unconditionally" releases the trawler captain accused of deliberately colliding with a Japanese coastguard ship near disputed islands in the East China Sea. The dispute is being closely watched by other Asian countries and the U.S., who have growing concerns about China's expanding naval power.

Japan will blink. China could crush them militarily and economically. America will not come to Japan's defense as the U.S. seems to think it is beholden to every one of China's wishes.

China is becoming like that newly divorced wife who is receiving alimony payments from her executive husband and is mumbling that she might try and revisit the financial separation agreement because she feels her needs are not being met.
