While believing AMD is "still verging on irrelevancy," Berenbaum thinks the chipmaker's problems - said to include execution issues, a weak competitive position relative to Intel in PC CPUs, and a "total lack" of a compelling server CPU offering - are now reflected in its cratered stock price.
