Monday, October 8, 2012, 7:17 PM ETGoldman doesn't see NAND flash memory vendors making "meaningful capacity additions" through mid-2013, even though Samsung (SSNLF.PK), Hynix, and Toshiba have all cut supply lately. Demand growth, meanwhile, is holding steady, and could see upside if cheaper solid-state drives (courtesy of low-cost chips from Samsung) are rapidly adopted. This leads the firm to lift its target on SanDisk (SNDK) to $52 from $45. Micron (MU) also benefits from a favorable supply/demand balance. (price hikes)
