Wednesday, October 10, 2012, 12:15 PM ETCalifornia's crazy gas price spike may be over - for now - as prices dropped overnight by an average of a half-cent per gallon, to the still stunning level of $4.666. A spate of refinery problems cut the state's gasoline supplies by 122K bbl., or 2.1%, to 5.77M in the week ended Sept. 28, down 10% Y/Y and the lowest inventory level for that period since 1999.
