    The U.S. government has reportedly set anti-dumping duties of 18%-250% on Chinese solar imports. Provisional anti-dumping duties of 31%-250% were set in May. The Chinese government has been vocal about its displeasure with the duties, and is currently reviewing anti-dumping complaints made by Chinese polysilicon vendors against U.S. firms.

    Brilliant thought of the day: Let the Chinese "dump" all the solar imports they want on us. Meantime, we dump our domestic solar subsidies. Let them create "green" jobs, we'll create real jobs and it will be a great trade-off for us, perhaps better than building an aircraft carrier.

    Why dont we spread the tarrifs around to all imports... say 10% on all products. A managable impact on consumer pricing and with that extra cash, the Democrats can create more work programs and print more food stamps.
