    The load of cash piling up at The New York Times (NYT +3.4%) has led to speculation that an increased dividend or special dividend could be coming down the line. But one outlier theory is that the company could explore a "go-private" transaction with the help of a backer. Barclays doesn't dismiss the idea entirely, noting that the spread between equity and credit spreads for NYT seems to be pricing in the potential of a LBO.
