Gold Fields (GFI +1.9%) issues a "final ultimatum" that it will fire 15K employees unless they end their strike by Thursday. GFI says it has lost 65K troy oz. gold output and 1.2B rand ($136M) in revenue due to the strike that is now being embraced by 23,500 of its workers.
