Q3-2012 is the worst quarter and they improve ASP in smartphones, NSN returned to profit, things are looking brighter for Nokia.

Smart devices will return to profitability when Lumia 920/820/810 Hits the world markets.

I think from here on out the stock will just skyrocket after releasing the new Lumia 920/820/810 and lets not forget that tiny jewel the Asha line for feature phones..The Lumia 920 is already in high demand in Europe and sold out pre-orders. Qt4 will be very exciting!

Why are people pushing the markets to a monopoly or a duopoly? Do you really want to come to a store and choose between an iPhone or a Samsung, an iOs or an Android? The more different software we have and the more phone makers we will have on the market, the better we will feel! A monopoly doesn't think about its customers, a healthy concurrent market does! A monopoly won't bring any innovation (the perfect example of it is Apple's new policy), while concurrence will bread the innovation, we didn't get for the last 4 years!

My comment was about the decision by Nokia leadership to go with Microsoft and wait for Microsoft. Samsung, HTC and others can and will produce Windows phones. What advantage was gained by Nokia waiting? It has been a tremendous destruction of value, jobs and margins. I was just asking, for what benefit?

Well if you were using a Windows Phone, or at leat testing one, you wouldn't be asking that. The experience of use is tremendous, not even comparable with Android. I would say that it's even much more innovative than iOS, but it might be arguable, and WP offers almost as much freedom as Android, which was the main argument against iOS. So for me, it's obvious that waiting is highly compensated. I should also make you notice that unlike Android, WP offers the same level of synchronization between PC and tablets, as Apple. So it's going to push people having a Windows 7/8 PC and a Windows tablet to buy a WP. The only negative point is that WP is also used by HTC and is probably going to be used by Microsoft itself. However, Android is also used by many phone makers, while Symbian showed us that programing OS isn't Nokia's strongest point.

It is a question of expectations. Since many investors believe Nokia is headed into bankruptcy because it will soon run out of cash, any evidence to the contrary is bullish.

Now look for a sale of the Nokia Siemens Networks division for a further boost to the share price.

WallStreet is controlling the shares of Nokia, just strange moves going on right now, I think its important not to close positions because of fear and if today is not going to soar, tomorrow will do.
