EMC, long rumored to be thinking about acquiring a networking vendor as its partnership with Cisco frays, is named as a potentially interested party. Juniper (current market cap of $9.7B) wouldn't be an easy fish for EMC (current market cap of $53.8B) to digest, especially after baking in a premium.
