Unemployment rates dropped in seven of nine election battleground states, according to the state-by-state report for September. It's good news for Pres. Obama, but he may not be able to capitalize on it. In Ohio, the rate has recovered to 7% from 8.6% a year ago, but the Obama campaign doesn't bring up the subject because it fears the more people think about the economy, the more they will vote for Romney.

  • Almost ever economic indicator has improved for another year under President Obama. No wonder he leads in key states for reelection.

  • With massive QE under Obama, people are starting to spend money while it is still worth something. One hell of a way to destroy buying power just to win an election. Did I forget to mention the massive debt and money thrown away to green jobs just for the sake of better economic numbers? He is right not to talk about jobs. He has not created one single (net) new job.

  • I'm voting to send Romney back to his 3-4 homes and time to count his ill gotten millions in offshore bank accounts. Mitt can't relate with anyone worth less than 10 million.

  • If anyone really thinks unemployment is improving needs a reality check. 7.8% REALLY..Then way are the markets tanking ??

People rode the election year ride but some are getting off the bus now. The fiat dollar is dead, go get your Phyisical metals before they really take off !!!

Manipulations will be exposed and either slow down or end..Silver only worth $32 bucks. Are you kidding me!! What a gift, grab it folks..While it lasts!!

POST again at the end of the year...Most companies are giving poor guidance, yet the market keeps going up? You can gamble with your money. Me? nope...

I feel some places like casinos are better for gambling. If you don't see the signs of a market correction coming i feel sorry for you !

I have said an Election year always is positive, but are small investors in this market or is it all computer driven? Your money, your choice..

Me, i like my precious metals for the last 5 years and i have no complaints. Plus a few dividend plays i will ride out and take the lower price shares. But the better part of my investment portfolio is starting to turn into dry powder now...cash!

If your so bullish then why didn't the market rise after that 7.8% lie was released? Investors today are too smart for that...One week later and the unemployment weekly figure was 48k higher than expected.

We never came out of the last recession. Just big Ben printing caused all the rise in the markets..Fake out my friend...

Are there any quality jobs ? Things are really gonna get bad....Precious METALS make a lot of sense. Plus a little prepping and some guns won't hurt....Call it insurance as some of those hungry unemployed will come knocking or breaking down your door one day.

I pray not, but if they enter my home they are going out toes first!!
