Monday, October 22, 2012, 7:01 PM ETAndroid Central has leaked pictures of the HTC DLX, which will likely be the first U.S. smartphone to feature a 1080p display. Of particular interest is the fact the DLX, due to be sold by Verizon, contains (like the pending LG/Google Nexus phone) a powerful Qualcomm (QCOM) APQ8064 app processor, something that might not be overkill for a phone containing such a high-res display. Qualcomm and Nvidia (NVDA) should both benefit from the adoption of 1080p displays. (previous)
