    Shares of Barnes & Noble (BKS -0.1%) show a bit of surprising resiliency in the face of a weak tape and a looming Apple event. One of the arguments BKS bulls are trumpeting is that even with Apple shouldering into its space the company has a reasonable chance to carve out market share in a rapidly-expanding segment.     Apple isn't the entire world- Windows 8 and the surface tablet are rolling out this week. Barnes and Noble hasn't told us what the actual integration will be, but they've been talking up the Windows 8 application even more than their own hardware.

    We should see what that is soon.
