Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 10:26 AM ETFujitsu (FJTSY.PK) and Sharp (SHCAY.PK) unveiled 11 new Symbian-based smartphones today, showing the declining mobile software platform may at least have a future in Japan. Nokia (NOK) just resumed development of Symbian, due to neglect from other vendors. Although Symbian is the mobile OS market leader, it's steadily lost ground since the iPhone (AAPL) launched in 2007.
