If anything, this concern should help KO, as they may get a lot of the high energy drink competition's customers. Coca Cola is not considered a high energy drink, as it contains much less caffeine.

Before the "Fed" goes after canned energy drinks, maybe they had better focus their attentions on the boutique coffee shops.
Maybe the "Fed" should require a Warning Label on every coffee cup in all coffee shops, and that before entering the shop, a patron must present a medical report, show proof of age, and sign off on a "Release of Indemnity"; THEN and ONLY then will you be permitted to buy your cup of coffee topped off with all sorts of "gop" floating on top after having stood in line for 20 minutes.

It's 'rein in' not 'reign in."
Someone at Market Current needs to repeat 4th grade English class.

Warn away. Plenty of people will drink more bottles of the stuff if caffeine content is capped. And people working 2-3 jobs to feed their families will drink it to make it through their shifts.

In my local quick stop, there's a sign telling customers they won't find those "high energy" products in that store. Not just regulators and legislators to worry about......oh, what a complex web.....
