From hereon, AMZN's earnings won't matter. After all, who cares about profits when you can increase sales by losing money on every Kindle Fire tablet sale? Third-quarter revenue was $13.81 billion, up 27 percent from a year earlier, but that includes the Kindle Fire which was absent a year earlier. Without the Kindle Fire, revenue growth would have been less than 25 percent from last year. This is far slower than the 40% revenue growth rates it enjoyed just a few years ago.
