    BriefMobile leaks images and specs for Google (GOOG) and Samsung's (SSNLF.PK) high-end Nexus 10 tablet, set to be announced at a Monday event. The device features a dual-core Samsung Exynos processor (the Nexus 7 uses an NVDA chip) and 10.1" AMOLED display (a positive for PANL, particularly since OLEDs have seen limited tablet use) sporting a 2500x1600 resolution. Thus far, no one has produced a successful high-end rival to the iPad and its arsenal of 275K tablet-specific apps. Update: BriefMobile is now backtracking on the AMOLED display claim.

    Looks similar to an ipad, from the actual device to the layout of the apps on the screen.

    A court in the UK disagreed the last time someone said that and they made Apple tell people that on their website

    I am aware of that, and that judge also commented that the Galaxy Tab lineup is "not as cool" as the iPad.

    Still, the average person can look at the images and come to the conclusion that they are very similar. Though apple is superior it is evident that effort was made to try to at least slightly mimic the famous brand.

    What Google really needs to do to wow people after Apple's show is demonstrate a bunch of really kick ass apps. If they don't demo some apps then they might as well go home because... no-one wants to pay more than a couple hundred dollars for a web-tablet/ movie player.

    Android tablet apps are going nowhere, there is no money to be made, free is the name of the game, but Surface Pro might make money app wise when it comes out of vaporware, RT Surface is stillborn and is dead on arrival.
