Monday, October 29, 2012, 10:23 AM ETNokia (NOK) and Verizon (VZ) introduce the Lumia 822, a mid-range Windows Phone 8 device that sports a 4.3" display and will go for $100 with a 2-year contract. The 822, formerly code-named Atlas, looks more like the Lumia 510 than the 820, which (like the flagship Lumia 920) will be sold by AT&T. The 822's introduction comes just ahead of Microsoft's (MSFT) San Francisco Windows Phone 8 launch event, which starts at 1PM ET (live blog).
