Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 5:49 PM ETUnlike J.P. Morgan (JPM), Citi (C) and Wells Fargo (WFC), BofA (BAC) is not providing automatic fee waivers to customers living in Sandy’s path. Instead, BofA says customers may qualify for some waivers but only if they first call the bank via an 800 number or by visiting a branch. Most banks also are proactively waiving fees on using out-of-network ATMs, but here again BofA adopts a stricter policy.
