It is amazing that the owners of the Fiskers didn't get them out of harms way - it is an expensive vehicle and I would have moved mine if I didn't want it damaged - unless of course I was unhappy with it, in which case I would have driven it to the seashore -
How many Teslas caught fire as a result of the flooding? - Probably none - why? - their owners like them and they could outrun surge -

The Fisker cars were parked near a port, possibly to be delivered soon. It wasn't like a bunch of Fisker owners left them on the beach.

How many gasoline/diesel cars were damaged by Sandy. Is this the best the aniti-electric crowd can do?

If this had happened in Benicia, CA, several hundred Toyotas would have been damaged. Since they all have batteries in them, perhaps they'd have caught fire too!

I've driven and closely examined both the Tesla Model S and Fisker. This is a well-deserved fate for the Fisker. It's really not a well-made car. The Model S is an order of magnitude better and not only in comparison to the Fisker but also other high performance ICE sedans.

Great news surrounding Bloomberg's review of the Tesla Model S! The exposure and publicity given to Tesla Motors by these publishers is going to be very helpful in establishing credibility with the public. Additionally, with such strong corporate leadership and product reviews like this I believe Tesla Motors has the potential for a very bright future.
