Thursday, November 8, 2012, 10:18 AM ETAutodesk (ADSK -1.8%) slips after receiving a downgrade to Hold from Jefferies' Ross MacMillan, whose checks indicate negative Oct. quarter license quarter (worse than historical trends), and that 50% of surveyed channel partners saw business below plan. MacMillan is also worried about weakening commercial real estate and manufacturing demand trends, which bode poorly for Autodesk's CAD software sales to the sectors. FQ3 results arrive a week from today. (FQ2 miss)
