Friday, November 9, 2012, 6:14 PM ETAK Steel (AKS) says it's increasing base prices for flat rolled stainless steel products, effective December 30. The company says the increase will be achieved through a reduction in the functional discount of four percentage points for cold rolled and hot rolled products, and base prices of automotive exhaust grades will increase by 4 cents per pound.
