Video game stocks closed higher as Microsoft (MSFT) announces it sold $220M worth of copies of the favorably-reviewed Halo 4 in its first 24 hours of availability, and expects to sell over $300M in in the first week. Though industry data remains bleak, hopes have grown that the holiday season will be relatively strong thanks to a healthy lineup of new titles. EA +1% ATVI +1.1%. TTWO +3.8%. GME +4.4%.
