Ford (F +0.7%) hopes to make a splash in the minivan segment with its new Transit Connect Wagon which it maintains isn't a traditional minivan at all with its leaner cut and higher fuel efficiency than rivals. Set to launch in 2013, the new model could create a niche sub-segment to take away market share from van sellers Chrysler, Honda, and Toyota.

  • I dont understand why ford stock has not rallied yet. Their cars are better looking, have more new tech. and are at a fair price compaired to the other US car markers..Plus-sales out of the USA are on the rise.

  • Ford has 387 million warrants outstanding, to convert to common shares at $9.30 per share. These came into play on Oct 1 and are done on Jan 1 2013. I'm hoping the stock will take off after any dilution affect is done....

  • I have no crystal ball nor do I have that 'special' feeling when the stock will take off. I have no idea what it will take or how long it will be before the 'undervalued' Ford stock will rise. I"m just hoping my patience will prevail. Patience is the key word here folks...

  • The company stock is certainly undervalued. The company products have improved in quality, appearance and represent a good value. I think the uncertainty of the Obama administration is suppressing all stocks because of lack of confidence in his leadership and socialist ideals.
